The Minerva Educational Foundation needs your financial support. When you give, you are investing in the future of our youth, their families and communities. Your support helps us provide scholarships for college and continue educational programs that impact and strengthen communities.
A brief description of programs we support are listed below:
Supports recent high school graduates entering a four (4) year university or college with a revolving scholarship or book award.
Jeanne M. Noble Delta GEMS
(Growing and Empowering Myself Successfully)
Addresses the educational, emotional, social and financial needs of African American women in grades 9 through 12.
Dr. Betty Shabazz Delta Academy
Provides educational programs for girls ages 11 through 14 with the goal of enhancing their future opportunities.
(Empowering Males to Build Opportunities for Developing Independence) Addresses the issues of African American males ages 11-17 years old and provides a collaborative effort to improve their quality of life through a comprehensive approach aimed at developing their full potential.
Aims to empower communities economically through financial management, home ownership and entrepreneurship.
Journey to Wellness
Incorporates healthy lifestyle initiatives through implementation of healthy lifestyle changes that include improving physical activity, healthy eating and mental health and wellness with a primary emphasis on addressing childhood obesity.
Capital Campaign Fund
This special fund has been established for the purpose of expansion. Our goal is to acquire a building to be used as the central location for community programming and operations.
Minerva Educational Foundation is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt, non-profit organization. All contributions are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
